Sydney Teeter enters her third season as an assistant coach for the Cortland women's lacrosse team in 2021. Prior to Cortland, she worked as a coach for the Auburn Girls Lacrosse Program from 2013-18, mentoring grades 2-12.Â
A 2013 graduate of Auburn High, Teeter was named to the All-CNYCL American first team, Defensive MVP and a participant in the Exceptional Senior Game as a senior. After high school, she attended Limestone College and played for the women's lacrosse team from 2014-17 as a goalkeeper. In 2014 and 2017, she was named the Conference Carolinas Tournament Most Valuable Player. As a sophomore, Teeter earned first team All-Conference Carolinas honors. The following year, she was named to the 2016 All-Tournament team. As a senior, Teeter was a participant in the IWLCA Senior All-Star game.Â
Teeter graduated from Limestone College in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in history and pre-law. She also works as a pharmacy technician at Kinney Drugs.
