The 2011 season is Courtney King's second as an assistant coach for the Red Dragons’ women’s soccer program. King joined Cortland after a four-year playing career at Le Moyne College, where she received both academic and athletic scholarships to compete.
While at Le Moyne, King (formerly Courtney Paddock) started 68 of the 70 games in which she played as a left outside defender, scoring 22 points on five goals and 12 assists. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a concentration in dual childhood/special education.
A native of Baldwinsville, N.Y., King was an all-state and first team All-Central New York and all-league selection in soccer at C.W. Baker High School.
