Craig Thomas begins his third season on the Cortland women's soccer coaching staff in 2021. A holder of UEFA and USSF coaching qualifications, he has coached at the professional, collegiate and youth levels. A native of Rhyl, Wales, Thomas started all three years for the University of Wales, Bangor, where he earned a degree in sports and exercise science.
From 2010-20, Thomas worked for Global Premier Soccer as a Director of Coaching and General Manager in both Massachusetts and New York. Thomas currently works for Rush Soccer serving as General Manager of New York. Thomas has won state cups in Massachusetts and New York while coaching teams that competed at national and international levels.
Thomas currently holds his UEFA B license and USSF B license, where he expects to pursue his USSF A license in 2021.
Thomas and his wife, Kassandra, reside in Syracuse.
