Tracy Blake enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Cortland women’s soccer team in 2016. Blake joins the Red Dragons with an extensive background in coaching on the high school, collegiate and development levels.
Prior to Cortland, Blake served as an assistant coach/goalkeeper coach at SUNY Oswego for three seasons. The Lakers posted a 25-23-4 record during his time on the staff with two SUNYAC Tournament appearances, including a showing in the conference semifinals in 2015.
Blake, who is a native of Bolton, England, earned a bachelor’s degree in sports and recreational management from Ashford University. His playing career included appearances with Italian professional team A.C. Pro Aviano, the U.S. Air Force and All-Military team as well as several club teams in Berlin, Germany.
Blake and his wife, Dr. Kathleen Blake, currently reside in Oswego and have two daughters, Cheryl and Julia.
