The 2017 season is Mallory Cobb’s first as an assistant coach on the Red Dragon women’s volleyball staff. Prior to Cortland, Cobb served as an assistant coach for the Cincinnatus girls’ varsity volleyball team and coached the U16 Crown City volleyball club.
Cobb, who earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Nazareth College, was a three-year member of the Golden Flyer volleyball team as a setter, outside hitter and defensive specialist, earning team Rookie of the Year honors in 2014.
A 2014 graduate of Cincinnatus (N.Y.) Central School where she was a Scholar Athlete and selected as the Senior Athlete of the Year, Cobb competed in volleyball, soccer and softball. She was a four-time team MVP and two-time Section Three Class D Player of the Year in volleyball and a three-time team MVP in softball.
