2019-20: Gianno registered a 24-14 record with a team-high 10 pins, three technical falls and one major...Went 6-4 in dual matches...Second on the team in wins and technical falls...Finished as the runner-up with a 4-1 record to earn all-state honors at the NYS Championships...Placed third with a 6-1 record at the Roger Williams Invitational...Posted a 4-1 record to place third at the King's Invitational...Competed at the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regional...Placed sixth at the ECWC Championships with a 1-2 record...Went 3-3 to finish sixth at the York Invitational.

2018-19: Compiled a 28-16 record with five pins, a team-high five technical falls and four majors...Posted a 6-5 dual-match record...Led Cortland in wins...Placed eighth at the NCAA Mideast Regional with a 2-3 record...Captured the title at the Long Island Open with a 4-0 mark...Placed fifth at the York Invitational with a 6-2 record...Went 4-2 at the King's Invitational to tie for fifth...Finished with a 3-2 record at the Roger Williams Invitational and the Springfield Invitational.

High School: A 2017 graduate of Newark Valley...Five-year member of the wrestling team...Two-time team captain and section champion...Placed fifth in state as a senior...Competed in cross country for four years...Played one year of tennis.
