Alex Zelinske joined the Cortland coaching staff in the fall of 2025. She's a 2025 graduate of Ursinus College, where she was a 13-time Centennial Conference finalist from 2022-25. Zelinske ranks sixth all-time at Ursinus in the 100-yard backstroke and seventh in the 200-yard backstroke. She also swam at Gettysburg College during the 2020-21 school year.
Zelinske earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and neuroscience from Ursinus in 2025 and is pursuing a master's degree in sports and exercise science, with a concentration in mental performance, at Ithaca College.
A native of Phoenixville, Pa., Zelinske graduated in 2020 from The Hill School in Pottstown, Pa. She competed in swimming and water polo, earning Eastern All-Area nods in both sports from 2016-20. She was a swimming team MVP and a member of the school-record 200-yard freestyle relay team.
