Hannah Miller, MS, LAT, ATC, joined the Cortland athletic training staff in August of 2025.
Prior to Cortland, Miller served as an athletic trainer at Newberry College (S.C.) July of 2023 to July of 2025. She was the primary athletic trainer for athletes participating in field hockey, men's wrestling, women's wrestling, and men's and women's track and field. The previous year she worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Brookland Cayce High School in Cayce, S.C.
Miller's other athletic training experience includes work in South Carolina with the Newberry College Wrestling Camp, Special Olympics Basketball, the River Bluff Duals Wrestling Tournament, Columbia Infantry Hockey, and the Rumble on the River Wrestling Tournament, and she's volunteered as an athletic trainer for the University of South Carolina ROTC, the Prisma Health Pediatric Concussion Clinic, and the Boston Marathon.
Miller graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts in 2022 with a bachelor of science in athletic training. She earned a master of science in advanced athletic training from the University of South Carolina in 2024. She worked as a teaching assistant in South Carolina's professional athletic training program while completing her master's degree, and she was an administrative assistant for a professor in Springfield's athletic training program from October 2020 to May 2022. A National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) membe, Miller earned the University of South Carolina's Above and Beyond Award in 2023 and the school's Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award in 2024.
