Nicole Jackson enters her third year on the Cortland coaching staff in 2024-25. Jackson was named the 2023-24 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Region Assistant Coach of the Year after helping lead the Red Dragons to a second place finish at the NCGA East Region Championship and a sixth-place national finish.
A former standout gymnast at SUNY Brockport, Jackson competed for the Golden Eagles from 2018-22. She was a two-time All-American on vault (2019 and 2020) and helped the Golden Eagles win the 2019 NCGA national title and a pair of East Region crowns in 2019 and 2022. Jackson also was named an NCGA Senior All-American in Academics in 2022.
While at Brockport, Jackson coached with the Brockport Junior Eagles program from 2018-21 and participated in an exercise science practicum faculty and staff fitness training program in the fall of 2021. She also was part of an exercise science internship at the Rochester General Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Pulmonary Unit in the spring of 2022.
Jackson graduated from Brockport in May 2022 with a degree in exercise science and a minor in biology. The Wheatley Heights, N.Y., native is a 2018 alumna of Half Hollow Hills High School East, where she was a two-time vaulting state champion in 2017 and 2018 and the 2017 Suffolk County all-around varsity champion.
