Paige Crittela joined the Cortland softball coaching staff in 2023. Crittela served as an assistant coach last season at Herkimer College during the 2021-22 school year, helping the Generals finish fifth at the NJCAA Division III national championship tournament. She also was a graduate assistant at Concordia University Ann Arbor in Michigan during the 2019-20 school year.
Crittela played center field for two seasons at Herkimer, graduating in 2017 with an associate degree in sports and recreation management. She was named to the NJCAA all-tournament team at the 2017 nationals. She went on to play for two seasons at Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania, graduating in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in sports business management. Crittela also earned a master's degree in student personnel administration in higher education from Concordia Ann Arbor in 2021.
Currently an admissions advisor at Cortland, the North Syracuse, N.Y., native graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School in 2015. She was a second team softball all-section player and also competed in indoor track and field.
