Pat Conoboy joined the SUNY Cortland women's hockey team as an assistant coach prior to the 2025-26 season.
Conoboy most recently served as an assistant coach at Gilmour Prep Academy from 2023 to 2025 and has been an employee at global manufacturing services provider Sigmatron International since 2018.
Conoboy has previous coaching experience as an assistant coach with the 16U and 19U age groups for Team Illinois, helping guide the 16U team to a runner-up finish at the state championship tournament in 2023. He was the head coach of the 19U team in the Wilmette Braves organization from 2020-21, and led the AWDM Renegades to consecutive league semifinal appearances, serving as assistant coach for one year and as head coach the following year.
A Park Ridge, Ill. native, Conoboy graduated with a degree in criminal justice in 2017 from Lewis University. He made his mark on the ice as a center for the school's ACHA team, recording the most games played in program history and helping guide the Flyers to the regional tournament for the first time in school history in 2016.
Conoboy also owns a Level 4 Certification from USA Hockey.
