Matt made a career-high 14 saves, including a stop with less than 30 seconds remaining, in a 6-5 win over Western New England in the NCAA Div. III quarterfinals. He then stopped eight shots on goal in Cortland's 16-8 victory over Middlebury in the national semifinals as the Red Dragons earned their fourth consecutive trip to the national championship game.
