Kyle was named to the D3football.com national Team of the Week after he averaged 40.8 yards per punt on five attempts in Cortland's home loss to Kean on Saturday. Three of his punts pinned the Cougars inside their own 20-yard line. Peterson currently ranks fifth nationally in Division III in punting average at 42.5 yards per punt. Cortland is 2-1 and is ranked 19th in the latest D3football.com national poll.
