Ryan finished first out of 159 runners at the NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country Niagara Region Championships at Geneseo to earn a trip to the NCAA Championships in Louisville. He covered the 8,000-meter course in 25 minutes, 27.7 seconds, more than three seconds ahead of the runner-up.
