Dane set a Cortland school record in the pole vault with his winning height of 5.01 meters (16' 5.25") at the Utica Holiday Classic. His height currently ranks second nationally in Division III in the event and first in both the AARTFC and SUNYAC. Dane helped Cortland finish first out of 12 schools in the final team standings.
