Kellen swam legs on Cortland's winning 3x100-yard butterfly relay (2:45.16) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:21.49) during the season-opening Cortland Pumpkin Relays. He also was part of the runner-up 400-yard medley relay team (3:38.63), 3x100-yard breaststroke relay team (3:09.21), 3x100-yard medley relay team (2:53.96) and 200-yard medley relay team (1:40.24).
