Cassie was named to the NCAA Div. III World Series All-Tournament Team after helping Cortland finish as the national runner-up in the eight-team field. She batted .471 (8-of-17) with a homer, double, five RBI and three runs scored in five games. Kardias hit a grand slam in Cortland's 9-1 second-round win over Luther, and her sacrifice fly drove in the winning run in a 2-1 first-round win over nationally top-ranked Salisbury. She also had three hits in a 7-6 win over Salisbury on the final day, including a hit during a five-run rally in the seventh, and added three hits in the championship round vs. Tufts.
