Melique was named the USTFCCCA National Men's Track and Field Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Cornell Upstate Challenge. He finished second in the 200-meter dash in 22.17 seconds, the fastest time nationally in Div. III so far this season, and placed third in the 60-meter dash in 6.86 seconds, which ranks second nationally.
