Micah finished as the national runner-up in the triple jump at the NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships in Boston. He broke a 36-year-old school record in the event with a distance of 15.00 meters (49' 2.5") on his first attempt of the day. Assibey-Bonsu's performance led Cortland to a tie for 30th place in the final team standings.
