Matt tossed a four-hitter with one walk and nine strikeouts in Cortland's 4-2 home win versus Oswego. He allowed two first-inning runs before settling down to blank the Lakers over the final six innings. Valin is 6-0 this spring with a 2.14 ERA. He's allowed only 19 hits and has struck out 57 batters in 42 innings pitched.
