David broke the school record in the hammer throw with his winning distance of 58.33 meters (191' 4") at the Geneseo May Meet. He broke the previous school mark of 58.06 meters set by Mitch Couch in 2017. Bernstein currently ranks 13th nationally in Division III and first in the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference with his performance.
