Senior
Sara Woodward (Ancram/Pine Plains) and junior
Erin Smith (Greene) each recorded a goal and an assist to pace the Cortland offense. Juniors
Karly Vdoviak (Johnstown) and
Mallory Guerin (Port Jefferson) added one goal apiece. Sophomore

Ithaca pressured Cortland in the early stages of the game before the Red Dragons took control of play. Singleton made several outstanding saves to keep the game scoreless before Smith finally put Cortland on the scoreboard at the 17 minute, 49 second mark. Woodward fed a pass to the top of the circle where Smith blasted a low hard shot past Singleton. Three minutes later, the Bombers were awarded a penalty stroke after a Cortland player covered the ball in front of the goal, but junior Andrea Pace's (Monkton, MD/Hereford) stroke went wide left.
The Red Dragons seized control of the game with two early second-half goals. Vdoviak made it a 2-0 game with a one-timer into an open goal off a feed from Smith from the right side at 35:54, and Woodward scored on a reverse-stick shot off a loose ball at 39:31. Guerin completed the scoring with a rebound goal on a loose ball with 7:57 remaining in the game.
