BUFFALO, N.Y. – Dylan Ross scored on a loose ball in the 69th minute and the Buffalo St. men's soccer team defeated Cortland, 1-0, Saturday afternoon in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons dropped to 7-6 overall and 4-2 in the conference with the setback, their first to the Bengals (5-6-1, 2-3) since the 2007 season.
Junior goalie
Tim Beauvais (Hilton) registered five saves for Cortland, while goalie Ian Huntoon also stopped five shots to earn the shutout for the Bengals. Brett Lanham assisted on the game-winning goal.
After a scoreless first half, Ross netted the game-winner when he put in a shot on a rebound in front after Lanham's initial attempt was blocked.
