Cork's 4-for-4 effort started when she singled to lead off the game.
Jamie Bucci (Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow) followed with a single to right, and a fielding error allowed Cork to score and Bucci to go to third. Kohler hit a sacrifice fly to left to drive in Bucci and Cortland led 2-0.
Carrie Stoddard (Liverpool) singled with two outs in the second and eventually scored on a Cork double down the left field line. In the fifth, Cork and Bucci led off with singles and Kohler homered to left center to extend Cortland's lead to 6-0. Stoddard, Cork and Bucci all singled during the Red Dragons' two-run sixth.
Bucci went 3-for-4 with two runs, Kohler finished 2-for-2 with a walk and four RBI and Stoddard was 2-for-3. Catholic (4-3) was led by Christy Sanchez, who went 1-for-2 with a walk, and Rebekah Hoisl, who finished 1-for-2. Victoria Capozucca gave up 10 hits and six runs, four earned, over four and two-thirds innings and took the loss.
Muskingum 9, Cortland 1 (Box Score)
Muskingum (3-3) broke open a tight game with five runs in the top of the sixth and two more in the seventh. Fallon Gawry went 3-for-3 with two runs scored to lead a 13-hit attack for the Muskies. Kelly Martin went 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored, Morgan Craig was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Kayley Bevard was 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Muskingum starter Ashley Gilbert scattered eight hits over seven innings for the win. She struck out one and walked one.

Erin Wolstenholme (Oneonta), Stoddard and
Beth Lamison (Liverpool) each finished 1-for-2.
Amber Corrigan (Montgomery/Valley Central) allowed two runs, one earned, over four innings and suffered the loss. She struck out two and did not walk anyone.

In Cortland's half of the fourth, Kohler led off with a single and moved to second on a wild pitch. Hibbard singled to right to drive in Kohler and cut the deficit to 2-1. An error and a sacrifice bunt put runners on second and third with one out, but Gilbert got the next two batters on a foul out and lineout to end the threat.
Muskingum's big sixth inning opened with singles by Jessica Matthews and Martin and a Gawry sac bunt. Allen was intentionally walked to load the bases, but the move backfired when Alyxis Moore and Craig were each hit by pitches to force in runs and give the Muskies a 4-1 lead.
Bevard followed with an RBI single up the middle and Reese drove in a run with a fielder's choice. The last run of the inning came in on a Jaclynn Hess RBI infield single. Muskingum tacked on two runs in the seventh on a Craig RBI single and a Bevard sacrifice fly.
Cortland is off Wednesday and will face Illinois Wesleyan and Staten Island on Thursday in Winter Haven.
