The Jumbos closed the half with a goal by Duffy at 3:13 and DiGate's second score just before the horn, and the Red Dragons led, 8-4.

Ross sandwiched a pair of goals around a Bello score to bring Tufts to within 9-6 with 22:50 remaining in the game. Ohberg and Nowak then traded goals and Cortland led 10-7 with 7:56 on the clock.
