CORTLAND, N.Y. – Senior
Gabby Stein (Endwell/Maine-Endwell) scored four goals to lead the Cortland field hockey team to a 7-0 win versus The College at Brockport in SUNYAC action Saturday afternoon at Stadium White. The Red Dragons improved to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in the conference, while the Golden Eagles fell to 1-9 and 0-3.

Jessica Welsh (Hamilton) tallied two goals and one assist, junior
Megan O'Brien (Holmes/Carmel) recorded one goal and one assist and junior
Meg Redmond (Accord/Rondout Valley) chipped in with two assists for Cortland. Sophomore goalie
Kailynne Reinoehl (Lititz, PA/Warwick) made three saves in 64:32 before giving way to senior
Mairead Hourihan (Yorktown Heights/Lakeland), who did not face a shot on goal over the final 5:28.
Three goalkeepers saw action for Brockport. Sophomore Sarah Beam (Red Hook/Stissing Mountain) earned the start, making seven saves in 37:11. Freshman Olivia Landry (Vestal) turned aside four shots in 28:22, and sophomore Adriana DeDie (Rochester/Eastridge) did not face a shot in 4:27.
The Red Dragons grabbed a 3-0 lead after the opening 35 minutes of play as Stein sandwiched a pair of goals around O'Brien's score. Welsh and Stein then traded the final four goals of the game in the second half for the 7-0 final.
