PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Four different players scored goals as the eighth-ranked Plattsburgh men's hockey team defeated Cortland, 4-3, Friday night in SUNYAC action at Stafford Ice Arena. The Red Dragons dropped to 2-4 overall and 1-3 in the conference. The Cardinals improved to 3-1 and 2-1.

Junior Darren McCormick (Buffalo/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) and freshmen Nico Gonzalez (Buffalo/Toronto Jr. Canadiens) and Tony DeVito (Chicago, IL/New Jersey Titans) each scored goals for Cortland. Sophomore Andrew Gleason (Vestal/Syracuse Stars) and freshmen Connor Beck (Richmond Hill, ON/Toronto Jr. Canadiens), Dougie Elgstam (Stockholm, Sweden/New Jersey Rockets) and Sean Perichak (Oakville, ON/Markham Royals) recorded one assist apiece. Junior goalie Drew Weigman (Annapolis, MD/Northern Cyclones) turned aside 36 shots.

Pat Egan and Kyle Hall tallied one goal and one assist for Plattsburgh. Antoine Desnoyers and Cole Stallard netted one goal apiece, Ayrton Valente picked up two assists and Ryan Chiasson and Joe Drabin each chipped in with one assist. Goalie Brady Rouleau stopped 24 shots.
