CORTLAND, N.Y. – Senior Jordan Ott (Hilton/Rochester Edge) scored five points on three goals and two assists to lead the Potsdam women's ice hockey team to a 5-1 win at Cortland Saturday afternoon in ECAC West action. The Red Dragons fell to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference, while the Bears improved to 4-0 and 2-0.

Miranda Kolb (Watertown/Syracuse Nationals) scored Cortland's goal, the first of her career. Senior
Sydney Carlucci (Baldwinsville/Rochester Edge) and freshman
Emily King (Tonawanda/Buffalo Regals) each collected an assist. Sophomore goalie
Victoria Gibson (Essex Junction, VT/Vermont Shamrocks) made 25 saves.
Sophomores Rylie Murray (Berkley, MI/Honeybaked) and Jenna Patterson (Biossevain, MB/Westman Wildcats) each added a goal for Potsdam, while freshman Delphine Leonard (Montreal, QC/Dawson College Prep) collected three assists and four others contributed one assist apiece. Freshman goalie Nicole Whitesell (Winnipeg, MB/Balmoral Hall) turned aside 21 shots.
