CORTLAND, N.Y. - Senior Stephen Collins (Pittsford/Youngstown Phantoms) scored four goals to lead the nationally fifth-ranked Geneseo men's hockey team to a 7-4 win over Cortland Friday night in SUNYAC action at Alumni Arena. The Red Dragons fell to 8-8-1 and 4-4 in the conference, while the Knights improved to 12-2-2 and 6-2.

Junior Cory Lauer (Mt. Juliet, TN/Toronto Lakeshore Patriots) recorded a goal and an assist for Cortland. Juniors Paul Fregeau (Los Angeles, CA/Des Moines Buccaneers) and Darren McCormick (Buffalo/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) and freshman Wilson Vershay (Buffalo/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) each added a goal. Junior goalie Drew Weigman (Annapolis, MD/Northern Cyclones) made 28 saves.

Junior Connor Anthoine (Lewiston, ME/Islanders Hockey Club) and freshman Andrew Romano (Drexel Hill, PA/Johnstown Tomahawks) each tallied a goal and an assist for Geneseo, and freshman Devin Brink (Ashburn, VA/Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) chipped in with a goal. Senior Trevor Hills (Honeoye Falls/St. Lawrence) and sophomore Anthony Marra (Guelph, ON/Georgetown Raiders) recorded three assists apiece, while five others each collected one assist.
