BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- The Brockport men's hockey team scored three power-play goals in defeating Cortland, 6-4, Saturday night in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons fell to 8-9-1 and 4-5 in the conference. The Golden Eagles improved to 7-10-1 and 5-6.

Senior Casie Garrison (Cortland/Phildelphia Revolution) and juniors Andrew McCann (Bowmanville, ON/Wellington Dukes), Tommy Nolan (Mahopac/Connecticut Oilers) and Darren McCormick (Buffalo/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) each netted a goal for Cortland.

Freshmen Nico Gonzalez (Buffalo/Toronto Jr. Canadiens) and MArtin Lavallee (Goose Bay, NL/Nepean Raiders) recorded two assists apiece, and juniors Paul Fregeau (Los Angeles, CA/Des Moines Buccaneers) and Drazen Zack (East Greenbush/Connecticut Oilers), sophomore Mike Crowley (Buffalo/Springfield Blues) and freshman Dougie Elgstam (Stockholm, Sweden/New Jersey Rockets) each notched an assist. Junior goalie Drew Weigman (Annapolis, MD/Northern Cyclones) made 37 saves.

Jake Taylor led Brockport with three goals. Dylan Shapiro and Zac Sikich each contributed one goal and one assist, and Hunter Laslo also added a goal. Tim Kielich, Doc Gentzler and Connor Hutchins collected two assists apiece. Goalie Jake Moore registered 32 saves.
