OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The nationally third-ranked Oswego men's hockey team jumped out to a 3-0 lead just 3:21 into the first period and earned a 7-3 victory versus Cortland Friday night in SUNYAC action. The Lakers improved to 15-3-1 overall and 10-1-1 in the conference, while the Red Dragons fell to 8-10-1 and 4-6.

David Ferreira paced the Lakers with two goals. Shawn Hulshof tallied one goal and three assists, while Josh Zizek, Joey Davies, Kristoffer Brun and Joey Scorpio each notched one goal. Kenny Neil contributed three assists, and six others each had one assist. Goalie David Jacobson stopped 12 shots.
