MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - The Morrisville St. men's hockey team netted the last five goals of the game, including two in the final 1:04 of the third period, to erase a 4-3 deficit and defeat Cortland, 8-4, in SUNYAC action Saturday night.
For the Red Dragons (9-12-2, 5-8-1 SUNYAC), junior
Tommy Nolan (Mahopac/Connecticut Oilers) scored a pair of goals. Juniors
Andrew McCann (Bowmanville, ON/Wellington Dukes) and
Cory Lauer (Mt. Juliet, TN/Toronto Lakeshore Patriots) each added goal.

Dan Broderick (White Plains/New York PAL Islanders) and freshmen
Aidan Salerno (East Atlantic Beach/Soo Thunderbirds) and
Stefano Alonzi (Maple, ON/Burlington Cougars) recorded two assists apiece, and junior
Paul Fregeau (Los Angeles, CA/Des Moines Buccaneers) and freshman
Michael Lindberg (Stockholm, Sweden/New Jersey Rockets) each contributed an assist for Cortland. Junior goalie
Drew Weigman (Annapolis, MD/Northern Cyclones) made 33 saves.
Nick DeVito led the Mustangs (5-16-4, 4-9-3) with three goals and an assist, while Joe Santino, C.J. Stubbs and Bradley Hefner registered one goal and one assist apiece and Jordan Carvalho had three assists. Goalie Jared Young stopped 34 shots.
The Red Dragons close their regular season at home next weekend with a pair of key conference games versus Buffalo St. on Friday and Fredonia on Saturday.
