FREDONIA, N.Y. – Ryan Dunn recorded a hat trick to lead the Fredonia men's hockey team to a 5-1 home victory versus Cortland Friday night in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons fell to 8-12 overall and 3-8 in the conference with the loss. The Blue Devils improved to 9-8-3 and 5-6.
Freshman Conor Tierney (Point Pleasant, NJ/Philadelphia Flyers) netted Cortland's goal with seniors
Cory Lauer (Mt. Juliet, TN/Toronto Lakeshore Patriots) and
Dan Broderick (White Plains/New York PAL Islanders) picking up assists. Senior goalie
Drew Weigman (Annapolis, MD/Northern Cyclones) made 28 saves.
Jacob Haynes and Sam Wilbur each added a goal and an assist for Fredonia, while six players contributed one assist apiece. Goalie Anton Rosen registered 40 saves.
