GETTYSBURG, PA. – Trailing 1-0 early in the game, the nationally 23rd-ranked Cortland men's soccer team scored four unanswered goals, including three in the second half, to rally for a 4-1 win at Gettysburg College Saturday night. With the win, the Red Dragons improved to 1-0-1, while the Bullets had their record even at 1-1 with the setback.

Senior Migell Ormsby (Kingston, Jamaica/DeWitt Clinton) scored what proved to be the game-winning goal for Cortland. Senior Leke Dossou (Hamburg, Germany/Otto-Hahn) netted his second goal of the season, while junior Dan Lapp (Trumansburg/Charles O. Dickerson) and sophomore Nick Pfeiffer (Commack) each scored his first career goal as a Red Dragon. 

Sophomore Jake Kaufman (Poughkeepsie/Spackenkill) registered two assists for the Red Dragons. Juniors Jake Keller (Wappingers Falls/Roy C. Ketcham) and Ivan Dam (Monroe/Monroe-Woodbury) each collected an assist. Junior goalie Sean Kelly (Coram/Newfield) turned aside four shots.

Bobby Weikert scored Gettysburg's goal with Sam Lerman assisting. Goalie Thomas Keane registered five saves.

The Bullets took a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute when Weikert scored off a header on a corner kick. Dossou tied the game in the 27th minute to send the game into the half tied at 1-1. Ormsby tallied the game-winner just 1:06 into the second half when he beat a defender one-on-one and tucked a shot inside the post. Pfeiffer added an insurance goal in the 68th minute on a shot into the upper left, and Lapp finished the scoring just over two minutes later off Kaufman's second assist of the game.
