The 2020 SUNY Cortland C-Club Athletic Awards Ceremony, originally scheduled for May 4, was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. In its place, Cortland Athletics is honoring its student-athletes as part of an online "Awards Week" series of releases May 4-8.
 
The first awards announced on Monday, May 4, were the annual Red Letter Awards. Each year, the Cortland head coaches select a winner in their respective sports.  The Red Letter may be given for outstanding athletic skills, team leadership, personal development as a player, or for any combination of reasons.  The 2019-20 Red Letter Award winners, by sport, are as follows:
