In June 2009, the SUNY Cortland C-Club formally launched a multi-year endowment drive with a goal of $500,000 to provide long-term financial support and stability for the organization, to enhance programming support for SUNY Cortland student-athletes, and to continue the preservation of our College's rich athletic history.
In 2021, the C-Club board of directors issued a stretch goal of $750,000. As the annual endowment allocation increases, this will position the C-Club to continue supporting important initiatives that span our Athletics Department.
As of June 30, 2024, the endowment amount is $714,729, which includes pledges, bequest intentions, and accumulated earnings. Of that amount, $128,844.69 is comprised of outstanding pledges and bequests.
