Jaden Galluzzo (Commack) scored her team-high eighth goal of the season late in the game as the Cortland women's soccer team defeated Fredonia, 1-0, Saturday afternoon in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons improved to 7-0-3 overall and 3-0-1 in the conference and have started a season undefeated in the first 10 games for the first time since 1993 when the team started 9-0-1.

Kristen Spendal (Dumont, NJ) made three saves in posting her sixth shutout of the season for Cortland. Goalie Sabrina Suriani stopped eight shots for the Blue Devils (2-6-2, 0-4).
After a scoreless first half in which Cortland outshot Fredonia, 10-2, Galluzzo netted the game winner in the 84th minute off DeTurris' assist. The Red Dragons held the Blue Devils without a shot for the remainder of the game in sealing the 1-0 victory.
