BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Sophomore
Domenic Settimo (East Meadow/P.A.L. Junior Islanders) scored four first-period goals to lead the Cortland men's hockey team to a 6-1 victory at Brockport Friday night in SUNYAC play. The Red Dragons evened their overall record at 3-3-1 and their conference record at 2-2.

Nate Berke (Buffalo/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) tallied a goal and two assists for Cortland. Freshman
Devlin O'Kane (Chicago, IL/New Jersey 87's) netted a goal, freshman
Colby Seitz (Eden/Corpus Christi IceRays) collected two assists and sophomore
Johnny Facchini (Succasunna, NJ/P.A.L. Junior Islanders) and freshman
Zack Smith (Courtice, ON/Cobourg Cougars) each recorded an assist. Senior goalie
Luca Durante (Brampton, ON/Aurora Tigers) turned aside 42 shots.
Chase Maxwell scored the goal for Brockport (3-3, 2-2). Chris Aarons and Scott Ramaekers each contributed an assist. Goalie Nolan Egbert made 41 saves.
Settimo started his big game with two shorthanded goals just 18 seconds apart at 2:47 and 3:05 of the first period to give Cortland a 2-0 lead. Berke made it a 3-0 game at 13:32 with a power-play goal before Settimo notched back-to-back goals only 12 seconds apart at 14:35 and 14:47 for a 5-0 Red Dragon advantage.
Maxwell put Brockport on the scoreboard at 7:50 of the second period, and O'Kane completed the scoring at the midway point of the third period for the 6-1 final.
