FREDONIA, N.Y. – Sophomore
Anthony Bernardo (Hauppauge/P.A.L. Junior Islanders) scored three minutes, 34 seconds into overtime to give the Cortland men's hockey team a 3-2 win at Fredonia Friday night in SUNYAC action. The win, Cortland's second in a row in overtime, improved the Red Dragons to 6-3-1 overall and 5-2 in the conference. The Blue Devils dropped to 2-8 and 1-5.

Jake Murphy led Fredonia with a goal and an assist. Antonio Demacopoulos scored a goal, and John Aonso contributed an assist. Goalie Logan Dyck registered 31 saves,
Seitz gave Cortland a 1-0 lead at 8:57 of the first period with his third goal of the season off assists from Mase and Donegan. Murphy tied the game 5:48 into the second period with an unassisted goal just four seconds after a Cortland penalty expired. Demacopoulos put the Blue Devils ahead, 2-1, with a power-play goal just past the midway point of the third period during a Red Dragon five-minute major.
Hildreth tied the game with his second goal of the season at 16:38 as Grupp and Serio assisted on the goal, sending the game into overtime. With the teams skating three aside, Hildreth assisted on Bernardo's third goal of the season with 1:26 remaining in the extra period for the 3-2 victory.
