BUFFALO, N.Y. – Junior goalie
Luca Durante (Brampton, ON/Aurora Tigers) made 28 saves to post his program-record third shutout of the season to lead the Cortland men's hockey team to a 4-0 victory at Buffalo St. Friday night in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons improved to 13-9-2 overall and 8-5-2/26 points in the SUNYAC with the win.
Cortland closes its regular season at Fredonia Saturday night and can clinch the fourth seed and a home playoff game with a regulation win or if the game goes into overtime against the Blue Devils. The Bengals dropped to 5-17 and 3-11/9 points.

Nate Berke (Williamsville/Buffalo Jr. Sabres) and

Goalie Emil Norrman registered 34 saves for the Bengals.
After a scoreless first period, Berke opened the scoring at 11:13 of the second period when he finished off a cross-ice pass from Sciore for his seventh goal of the season.
Homitz netted his eighth goal of the season at 5:50 of the third period on a rebound, and Storjohann made it a 3-0 game 1:36 later with his fifth goal on a wrist shot from the left circle. Kuhl finished the scoring with a shot from the left point after sophomore
Billy McDevitt (Livonia/Philadelphia Jr. Flyers) won a clean faceoff.
