ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cortland women's soccer team scored goals in each half and defeated Ithaca, 2-0, in non-conference action Wednesday night. The Red Dragons improved to 3-0-2 on the season and posted their third consecutive shutout. The Bombers suffered their first loss, falling to 3-1-1.

Jayden Kelley (East Berne/Voorheesville) and freshman
Julia DeTurris (Hicksville) each tallied goals for Cortland. Sophomore
Isabella Auth (Mount Sinai) collected an assist.
Sophomore goalie
Kristen Spendal (Dumont, NJ) made five saves in posting the shutout for the Red Dragons. Goalie Claire Reader made two saves for Ithaca.
DeTurris scored the game winner on an unassisted effort 2:04 before halftime. Kelley notched an insurance goal in the 76th minute off an assist from Auth for the 2-0 final.
