POTSDAM, N.Y. – Senior
Jack Riedell (Greensboro, NC/Charlotte Rush) recorded 33 saves in posting his first career shutout as the Cortland men's hockey team skated to a 4-0 victory at Potsdam Saturday night in SUNYAC action. The Red Dragons improved to 7-2 overall and 5-2, while the Bears dropped to 1-9 and 0-6.

Goalie Lenny Perno made 31 saves for Potsdam.
Seitz gave Cortland a 1-0 lead at 3:42 of the first period with a shot over Perno's shoulder from the high slot on a power play after a Settimo faceoff win. Nichols made it a 2-0 score at 16:26 of the period with a one-time shot on the left side after a Cortland rush up the ice.
Przystawki pushed Cortland's lead to 3-0 at 5:00 of the second period with a wrist shot between the circles after another Settimo faceoff win. Berke completed the scoring 5:33 into the third period when he scored on a rebound after a partial breakaway by Settimo for the 4-0 final.
