ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Rochester men's soccer team scored four second-half goals in earning a 4-1 victory versus Cortland Friday night in the season-opening game for both teams.

Riley Williams (Watertown/South Jefferson) scored the Red Dragons' goal with senior
Marco Cottone (Syosset) assisting. Sophomore goalie
Jordan Ott (Fort Worth, TX/Southwest Christian) made two saves in his Cortland debut.
Nick Swanger, Ashton Prescott, Santi Ponce Ocampo and Tyler Moran each tallied goals for the Yellowjackets. Goalie Santino Lupica-Tondo did not have to make a save.
Williams gave Cortland a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute, scoring on a header off Cottone's serve. The lead held until the 68th minute when Swanger scored on a rebound after an Ott save on a penalty kick. Prescott and Ponce Ocampo followed with penalty-kick goals in the 73rd and 77th minutes before Moran completed the four-goal run with his goal in the 81st minute for the 4-1 final.
