CORTLAND, N.Y. – The nationally 24th-ranked Cortland men's soccer team scored a pair of goals in each half in earning a 4-0 victory versus Ithaca College Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference game at Holloway Field. The Red Dragons improved to 6-1-1, while the Bombers dropped their first game of the season and fell to 2-1-2.

Jordan Ott (Fort Worth, TX/Southwest Christian) collected assists.
Ott made three first-half saves in posting the shutout. Sophomore goalie Johannes Berghahn (Madison, WI/Madison West) registered three saves for Ithaca.
Shultz gave Cortland a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute. Ott delivered a long kick that Coleman flicked on with a header. Shultz outran Ithaca defenders to the ball and finished off the breakaway. Williams made it a 2-0 score when he struck a 25-yard left-footed shot from 25 yards out that found its way inside the right post in the 33rd minute. Ithaca's best scoring chance in the first half came in the 41st minute, but Ott denied first-year Jack Nelson's (Renton, WA/Liberty) header deep in the box.
The game remained at 2-0 until late in the second half. Shultz struck for his team-high seventh goal of the season in the 82nd minute with a 25-yard shot that tucked inside the upper left 90, off the crossbar and over the goal line. Choukri completed the scoring in the 88th minute. The Ithaca defense turned the ball over in its own box, and Choukri deposited a shot into the open goal for the 4-0 final.
