MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Seven different players scored goals as the Cortland women's hockey team defeated Morrisville, 7-0, in SUNYAC action Friday night. The Red Dragons improved to 13-3-1 overall and 8-2-1 in the conference. The Mustangs dropped to 8-8 and 3-6.

Junior Mia Hlasnick (Olean/Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles) led Cortland with a goal and two assists. Senior Jillian Hlasnick (Olean/Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles) and sophomore Kayla Persinger (Lewiston/Newark Ironbound) recorded a goal and an assist, while junior Natalie O'Brien (Lockport/Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles), sophomores Morgan Raymond (Windsor/Syracuse Valley Eagles) and Fanny Aneborn (Linkoping, Sweden/Lulea HF Sweden) and freshman Katie Mahoney (Toronto, ON/Toronto Leaside) each netted a goal.

Senior Molly McCabe (Webster/18UAA Webster) recorded two assists for the Red Dragons. Graduate students Dany Donegan (Cicero/Syracuse Nationals) and Elena Eichmann (Rochester/Syracuse Nationals), senior Nicole Tulowiecki (Syracuse/Syracuse Nationals), sophomore Hayley Hunter (Pulaski/NAHA) and freshmen Drew Kopek (Rome/Syracuse Valley Eagles) and McKenzie Brown (Peru/Lovell Academy) picked up one assist apiece.

Junior goalie Molly Goergen (Eden Prairie, MN/Eden Prairie H.S.) registered 20 saves for the Red Dragons. Goalie Emma Plett made 31 saves for the Mustangs.
