Vuotto got the Red Dragons on the board with a goal in the 11th minute, spinning around and firing a shot into the bottom left corner from the right side after a pass from the left by Neivel. Arcadia needed just three minutes to respond, tying the score off a corner kick after a clearance attempt on the goal line by the Red Dragons was shouldered back into the net by Rabold.
Vuotto netted her second goal of the game in the 19th minute after the Knights failed to clear a corner attempt, with
Cam Stone (Ilion/Central Valley Academy) sliding a pass into the box to Vuotto, who once again sent a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner of the net. Cortland made it 3-1 just before halftime after DeTurris slid a pass from the right in transition to Frohne down the left side of the box. Frohne then shot off the right post and into the net for the goal.
The Knights pulled back to within a goal in the 62nd minute with a header by Rabold off of a free kick from nearly 40 yards from goal. Gagliano restored Cortland's two-goal advantage just three minutes late, knocking in Neivel's cross from the right side. DeTurris completed the scoring with 47 seconds remaining, dribbling around a defender and shooting from outside the box into the bottom right corner of the net.
