ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Cortland women's volleyball team surpassed the .300 attack percentage mark for the fifth time this season in a 25-18, 25-11, 25-18 SUNYAC victory at Oneonta.

Cortland improved to 14-4 overall and is 3-0 in the conference after posting its 39th straight SUNYAC regular-season victory, dating back to 2021. The Red Dragons will play at New Paltz Saturday at 1 p.m.

Cortland finished the match with a team .325 attack percentage, totaling 50 kills and 13 errors in 114 attempts.
Kira Pirrera (Hauppauge/Smithtown West) led the team with 19 kills and three errors in 35 attempts for a .457 hitting percentage. She also registered 11 digs.
Emalee Ballou (Eden) finished with 10 kills and three errors in 23 attempts (.304) and
Lauren Millspaugh (Trumansburg/Charles O. Dickerson) had eight kills and two errors in 13 attempts (.462).

Erica Arroyo (Nesconset/Smithtown West) ended with five kills and seven digs and
Sanaiya Whitted (Poughkeepsie/Franklin D. Roosevelt) added four kills.
Melissa O'Connor (Hauppauge) led the Red Dragons with 19 assists,
Alyssa Rich (Rochester/Churchville-Chili) had a team-best 12 digs, and
Samantha Rodriguez (Camarillo, CA/Adolfo Camarillo) recorded 11 assists and 11 digs.

Oneonta (11-8, 1-2 SUNYAC) was paced by Colleen McCabe with seven kills and no errors in 22 attempts. Layla Pertchik dished out 16 assists and Anna Moller had 17 digs.

Cortland used a 6-2 run in the opening set to push a 15-13 lead to 21-15 on the way to the win. Pirrera and Ballou each finished the set with five kills and one error in nine attempts. Cortland grabbed control early in the second set with a 7-1 streak to take a 14-6 lead. Pirrera had seven kills and one error in 12 attempts during the set. She also led Cortland in the third set with seven kills and one error in 14 attempts. Cortland scored six straight to extend a 9-6 lead to 15-6 and led by at least six points the rest of the match.
