The Red Dragons scored on another rebound following a penalty corner in the second quarter to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Hoffmann blasted a shot from the left side near the top of the circle that was saved by Krautheim, and the ball came out to Morse on the right, who flipped a shot into the back of the cage for her third goal of the season.

With just over five minutes remaining in the third quarter, Cortland scored a third time, this time directly off a penalty corner. Gemelli sent the insert on the penalty corner out to Mayes to the left of the top of the circle, and the sophomore drove a low shot into the bottom of the cage to give Cortland a 3-0 lead.

The Red Dragons completed the scoring with a little over ten minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Mayes sent the ball from the left side inside the circle to the right post, where Peterson was able to redirect the ball past Krautheim into the back of the net for her first goal as a Red Dragon.
