Isaiah Austin (Albany) scored 28 of his 30 points in the second half, including eight 3-pointers, and
Joel Davis (Watertown) and
Kendall Arcuri (Staten Island/St. Joseph by-the-Sea) scored 21 and 20 points, respectively, as the Cortland men's basketball team defeated visiting Morrisville, 99-73.

Cortland (12-4, 8-1 SUNYAC) led 37-23 at halftime and 71-60 with 7:38 remaining before finishing the game on a 28-13 run. The first 21 points of that run came via seven 3-pointers, including five by Austin and one each by Arcuri and Davis. Austin hit treys at the 7:20 and 5:45 marks, as well as three in a 35-second span between the 4:28 and 3:53 marks. He completed his 30-point night with two free throws with 2:53 left. Austin finished 10-of-17 from the floor overall and 8-of-14 from the arc, and he added four rebounds and three steals.

Davis made 4-of-5 3-pointers and 7-of-10 shots in total in his 21-point effort, and he pulled down eight rebounds. Arcuri was 7-of-13 overall and 4-of-6 from deep, and he finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Also for the Red Dragons,
Aaron Coston (Kerhonkson/Rondout Valley) totaled eight points, eight rebounds and five assists,
Gaige Armbrewster (Oakfield/Oakfield-Alabama) finished with seven points and five assists, and
Nolan Raymond (Queens Village/Vermont Academy) had six points and four assists.

Kaelem Haskins led Morrisville (5-11, 4-5 SUNYAC) with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Jacob Works tallied 15 points and dished out four assists, and Avion Grainger had 13 points and three assists.

Cortland shot 52 percent from the field - 60 percent (22-of-37) in the second half - and ended at 47 percent (18-of-38) from the 3-point line. Cortland's 18 treys matched its season high set in a win at Farmingdale State. Morrisville shot 43 percent from the floor, 26 percent (6-of-23) from the arc.
