Cole helped create two Cortland special teams touchdowns in an 31-21 win over Alfred University. He returned a kickoff 84 yards for a TD in the first quarter to tie the game at 7-7, and he blocked a punt that was returned by Dylan Studer 13 yards for a TD early in the second quarter to put Cortland ahead 14-7. Burgess also caught three passes for 15 yards.
